Lorraine Tavarez Lopez, LPES, is the Founder and Executive Director of New Horizons Intervention Services, LLC. She earned her Master’s Degree and Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from Capella University.

With a strong background in education, Lorraine began her career as a preschool teacher before becoming a middle school educator and later serving as a university instructor. Today, she combines her extensive educational experience with her expertise as a bilingual school psychologist to support children with developmental needs and empower families through compassionate, evidence-based intervention.

Lorraine is passionate about helping every child reach their fullest potential by creating inclusive environments where children and families can grow, learn, and thrive together.

Courtney Ward earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Lander University. She has been serving as an Early Intervention Specialist since 2018 and holds South Carolina Infant-Toddler Credentials.

As a member of both the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Courtney remains committed to professional excellence and evidence-based practices. She is dedicated to helping children achieve developmental milestones while partnering closely with families to provide individualized, compassionate support.

Yanira Rivera is an Early Intervention Specialist dedicated to helping young children and their families build strong foundations for lifelong success. Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Multicultural Languages.

With more than seven years of experience providing home-based early intervention services, Yanira is passionate about empowering parents through practical guidance, individualized support, and meaningful family partnerships. Her commitment to nurturing children’s development reflects her lifelong vocation of serving families and creating positive outcomes for every child.
